Svetlana is an International Consultant on cross-cultural communications in Business and Politics. She was one of the initiators of the project 'Cross- cultural communications in Russia'.

Svetlana provides self-designed trainings and seminars on How to carry out business in Russia and with Russians; Team-building across cultures; International Negotiations (cross-cultural aspects). She also carries out seminars on corporate culture, conflicts, economic psychology, the psychology of co-operation and the consequences of globalization for Russia both in English and in Russian.

Svetlana's professional interests include a wide-range of issues such as The image of Russia and Russians abroad; The place and efficiency of cross-cultural communications in the international business; Globalization and international markets; Cross-cultural component of political processes.

Cultural background and experience

Currently Svetlana is recognized as the leading cross-cultural professional in Russia. Her services and advice are highly appreciated by CEOs and international teams focusing on business in Russia and with Russians.

Being originally Russian, Svetlana's training perfectly combines a psychological knowledge of the Russian mentality, business and management practices of the customers’ companies, and an appropriate delivery of materials.

Since July 2010, Svetlana has been involved in building a cross-cultural managment system for Russian Government purposes, firstly as Adviser of the Chairman of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, later as an expert of the State Duma committee.

Svetlana is the author of numerous articles on Russian business culture and other cross-cultural issues.
