Rebecca Huang has been facilitating workshops & training programmes across China and Hong Kong for the past six years. She works directly with Kamal Bijj with numerous multinational companies in various sectors delivering a broad variety of leadership development skills vital for success in China and in global assignments. The range of programmes cover cross-culturural orientation, business communication skills, managing the interaction with different personality types in the workplace, presentation skills and cross-functional team composition, selection and communication based on the action learning methodology.
Rebecca’s specialty is in the study of Chinese managerial practices and identifying key overlaps with Western management theories, practices, and application. Her goal is to develop key foundations for building bridges across cultures for international executives in China or local talents transitioning to overseas assignments.
Rebecca received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Xi’an International Studies University and is currently a Master’s Candidate in Psychology at Peking University. Her research interests include decision-making under high stress conditions, cross-cultural adaptation and intercultural workplace issues. Rebecca is certified as a DISC Personal Profiling Program facilitator and is currently taking China National Psychology Counsel Certification training, focusing on group counselling. Rebecca is also a certified translator and frequently presents at various workshops in both English and Mandarin.
Before working in Shanghai, Rebecca lived in Singapore as a scholarship student and travelled extensively throughout Asia to garner experience of different cultures and values.
