Stuart Friedman provides a wide range of services including executive and key employee 1-on-1 coaching, retained consulting services, and small/intimate to large group training and workshops to clients that range from large multinationals to small entrepreneurial startups. But it is his dedicated focus on making a direct and material impact on clients’ bottom-line results that makes him stand out. A recent client testimonial reflects his approach: “Stuart is a very effective career coach with wonderful insights and intuitions. His advice and suggestions not only have an immediate impact on day-to-day interactions but also on long-term behavioural change. He helps his clients understand culture diversity in the work place, and provides them with tools to resolve conflicts and develop leadership skills.” - Kedan Lin, PhD. Senior Scientist, Genentech.
During 33 years in industry, Stuart has cultivated a passion for organizational behaviour, international travel and world cultures. He has worked with large multicultural teams, managed organizations in 25 countries, held executive management positions at firms such as Texas Instruments, Intel and Honeywell, as well as startup companies, and has garnered over $500M in worldwide revenues. As a vice president and general manager at a large Silicon Valley company, he transformed an unprofitable $20M cable modem product line into a $100M profitable division. Consulting arose from his interest in strategic selling and market development. Clients noticed how germane his cross-cultural acumen was to their own global success, so he began concentrating on boosting cross-cultural effectiveness. Integrating the latest developments in cognitive behavioural science into his work allows him to make bigger and quicker impact on his clients’ success. Today he focuses on improving clients’ cross-cultural performance across all facets of their business.
