Based in Marseille, Rebecca spent ten years working for the British Embassy and UK Trade & Investment, combining diplomacy and international business. She occupied a number of Consular and Commercial positions to later become Vice-Consul (Commercial). Rebecca worked meeting the needs of British citizens overseas and she went on to spent a highly rewarding seven years advising and accompanying British companies with their export strategy in France, undertaking tailored market research, managing teams and projects such as sector specific trade missions, high profile business events, marketing campaigns as well as writing Ambassador briefings and speeches.
In 2007 Rebecca created her own company, and moved into the field of cultural diversity where she designs and delivers tailor-made training programmes and events in international mobility, cross-cultural communication, managing diverse teams and working effectively across cultures. She delivers culture specific training on the British, French and Israeli cultures. Thanks to her combined experience from the business, events and training worlds, she has an appealing pedagogic manner combining both dynamism and consideration. Through experiential based activities she brings the essential points for progress to the forefront , helps participants to look beyond obvious solutions, enabling them to implement concrete and successful actions.
With an Anglo-European upbringing and a rich migrating family history, Rebecca has accumulated many years of personal and professional intercultural experience. She has lived and worked in France for over twenty years and has always been immersed in a multicultural environment whether professionally or personally. Through her work, Rebecca travels widely and is constantly in contact with people and cultures all over the world, enabling her to expand my knowledge and keep abreast of the impact and changes to today’s rapidly changing global marketplace.
