Jacques Méon joined Richard Lewis Communications as a Senior Consultant in Cross Cultural Management issues in 2000. He has also been involved in the licensing of cross cultural trainers for the company and has conducted regular Train the Trainer sessions since the launch of the licensing project in 2009.
Over the years, his clients have included SonyEricsson, Nokia, Ericsson, France Telecom, Unilever, Alfa Laval, IKEA, Nordea, Rolls Royce, NYKCool, Alps Electric, The Helsinki Chamber of Commerce, Gyros, Qmed, Flextronics, Alstom, Dalkia, Atos Origin, ABB, and IUC Siemens.
Jacques now shares his time between Europe and Japan but still travels extensively to deliver training and consultancy.
Jacques Méon brings with him over 30 years of international business experience including 25 years spent living and working in Japan, managing the Far East divisions of two US-based companies which included a US/Japanese Joint Venture. While his main management responsibilities as President and Representative Director was with their respective Japanese subsidiaries, he travelled regularly in the region (namely China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Korea , Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia) to oversee the companies' local operations and open new subsidiaries. He was also a member of the two companies' respective management committees and this gave him continuous and extensive exposure to managers of various nationalities and to different business practices covering the five continents.
Jacques is a French national with a degree in Economic Science. He was born in Sweden where he spent a good part of his youth. He speaks fluent French and English and has a good working knowledge of Japanese and a fair knowledge of Swedish and German.
