Keng Keng Tan is the founder of TransCultural Group. She has over 25 years successful experience in international business across Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, during which she has gained respect and recognition from her Western and Asian peers alike. Her global expertise ranges from Engineering, Marketing & Sales, Strategy & Business Development, to OEM & Alliances, Market Intelligence and Consulting.
Keng Keng has a B.Eng (Hons) from King’s College, University of London (UK) and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University (USA). She is certified as an advanced CQ facilitator by the Cultural Intelligence Center, LLC USA, and is an accredited trainer and facilitator of the CultureActive Assessment System. In addition, she conducts International Business Etiquette courses in Swtizerland and Asia.
Keng Keng was born in Melaka (Malacca) Malaysia. After a traditional Chinese upbringing, she went to England to complete her education, and then moved to France, where she started her career working for a US multi-national company at their European regional centre. After being identified as a high-potential employee, she was sent for assignments to its US headquarters and Asia Pacific regional centre (Singapore).
Keng Keng speaks six languages fluently, and travelled to more than thirty countries around the world before settling in Singapore. Her global journey, spanning many years, sparked a passionate interest in cultural matters and how they impact businesses. It has led to her founding a company to share and impart valuable experiences gathered by her own and her professional partners’ journeys. Participants from around 30 countries have attended her workshops in Singapore, Switzerland, China, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines, with 100% client satisfaction.
Keng Keng has contributed an article to the Human Capital Leadership Institue (HCLI) in Singapore and is also the author of a book encouraging young people to explore and develop cross-cultural friendships.
