Caspar recognises that in different cultures there exist different perceptions, different relationships and different methods of communication and during the cross-cultural awareness and communication training in which he specialises, delegates will learn to recognise the differences between cultures, to respond successfully to the differences in behaviour and to align their communication with that of their partners, reaching and maintaining goals for the benefit of all.

As an executive coach and leadership trainer, Caspar unleashes the hidden potential of leaders and helps them to unleash in turn the potential of their teams. Caspar has over twenty years of in-depth experience in helping executives better manage business priorities while also achieving personal and professional growth. Besides working as an executive coach and consultant, he is an internationally recognised trainer of leadership coaches, trainers and change-consultants with a good understanding of the influence of cultural differences. With his strong diagnostic skills, and combining style with pragmatism and enthusiasm with creativity, he has contributed to individual, team and organisational development within a wide range of industries.

Cultural background and experience

Caspar started his career at ABN AMRO bank just after the merger. In the years that followed, he was involved in processes to integrate the offices and increase the bank’s customer and sales focuses. In that same period, he started coaching and training managers, initially mainly at a skills level, later increasingly at an identities level, after becoming an internationally recognised NLP, TA and Systemic Work coach and trainer.

Since 2005, Caspar has been the CEO of a number of companies that focus on individual, team and organisational development, mainly in a cross-cultural context. In response to feedback, his expertise has developed in particular in devising cross-cultural elements for soft skills training programmes.
